Years of Impact
To equip young women in Rwanda with the technical skills, confidence, and professional network they need to launch careers in tech — building a more inclusive and diverse tech ecosystem in Rwanda and beyond.
A future where women are equally represented in technology — leading innovation and driving positive change in their communities through coding and digital skills.
Igire Rwanda Organization launched SheCanCODE to close the gender gap in tech, training its first cohort of young women in software and web development in Kigali.
With partners like UN Women Rwanda, our 14-week bootcamp grew across successive cohorts — adding mentorship, real-world projects, and leadership and career-readiness support.
Hundreds of women have trained with us, and over 85% are working at local and international tech companies. Our graduates are now engineers, founders, and mentors shaping Rwanda's tech industry.
We hold ourselves to the highest standard in everything we deliver.
Tech is for everyone. We actively remove barriers for every woman.
We constantly evolve our programs to match what the industry needs.
We foster genuine relationships that last well beyond graduation.
Dedicated professionals passionate about empowering women in technology.
